Dota Client Setup Guide

Follow these steps to download and install the game client:


Step 1: Download the client
First, click on the download link provided to start downloading the game client.

Step 2: Select the Warcraft III folder
Navigate to the folder where you have Warcraft III installed on your computer.



Step 3: Choose the installation directory
By default, the client will install to

Code Select Expand

C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayDota. Click Next to proceed.



Step 3 (Continued): Create a desktop shortcut
Check the option to create a shortcut on your desktop. Then, click Next.



Step 4: Install and Finish
Click Install and after the installation is complete, click Finish.



The shortcut will be on your desktop. Click it to start playing immediately! 😃
